Cutcardstock Friday

Happy Friday!   I'm starting a cute little series the next few weeks, called "Better Together!" from marjorieanndesigns.com  First up is Benny and Belinda Hotdog and Mustard.  I thought these were the cutest little sets of bears!  and Im not a "bear" person.  But these were too cute i had to create them.. I used cardstock from cutcardstock.com - Desert Storm, Mars, Yellow jacket, cougar white, and black.  adding some chalk for some rosey cheeks and inking on the bun and the bears themselves.  Join me next week for another "Better Together" set.

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old. Fall Fun Blog Hop with CutCardstock!

  Thank you all so much for following along with us today!   So far you should have been too the CutCardstock Blog, Niki, and came from Teri!  At the bottom of my post will be the links for the next blog on your journey!      So for this blog hop I decided to step out of my comfort zone of Scrapbook pages and wall decor and try my hand at a card!  I do enjoy sending cards with my “Melly Art” pieces and I also love to send cards to friends and family to cheer them.  I’m going to briefly show you what I did and a few steps on how I did it!   Here is what I came up with.  One of my favorite stamp sets and embossing folder, with some distress oxide, coloring, sequins, and nuvo.  Card making isn’t my greatest creative outlet, but I was happy with this one.  I must have been channeling my inner “Card Ninja” Sister ❤️ Starting with Cougar White, and Neenah white cardstock, square dies, my favorite fall stamps, and my fall colors of di...

A Cut Above June

  This project was a real Labor of Love, all the petals, inking, bending, layering... Was definitely worth it, it turned out amazing!  The design itself is from Dreaming Tree, and the cardstock from Cutcardstock.              I decided to stick with all the pretty pinks and the red rose, all the spring time colors that I love so much.  I used Fruit punch, Strawberry Cream, Metallic Mars, Light Pink, Chamomile, Jelly Bean, Lime, and Easter Grass.  I didnt add anything to this, It was so pretty all on its on, and fits into a 9x9x2 shadow box... once i get the shadow box.                                              Thanks for popping in!   Happy Crafting!
