A Cut Above - July

Happy June!!  For June I decided to create an entire set of Die Cuts from Marjorie Ann Designs.  
I thought these turtles were the cutest!  And theres nothing i love more than sitting down and paper piecing die cuts together.  Its relaxing to me.. sometimes a little frustrating if the pieces are too little, but relaxing for the most part.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.  They have been embellished with nuvo drops and glossy accents, with some chalk for those rosy cheeks.  Below are closeups of each die cut.

    Oh my GOSH, these sweet little guys just couldn't be any cuter. I can only imagine how much fun you had putting them together and giving them life. I ADORE them, they just make me smile!!

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old. A Cut Above June

  This project was a real Labor of Love, all the petals, inking, bending, layering... Was definitely worth it, it turned out amazing!  The design itself is from Dreaming Tree, and the cardstock from Cutcardstock.              I decided to stick with all the pretty pinks and the red rose, all the spring time colors that I love so much.  I used Fruit punch, Strawberry Cream, Metallic Mars, Light Pink, Chamomile, Jelly Bean, Lime, and Easter Grass.  I didnt add anything to this, It was so pretty all on its on, and fits into a 9x9x2 shadow box... once i get the shadow box.                                              Thanks for popping in!   Happy Crafting!

Fall Fun Blog Hop with CutCardstock!
