    The inspiration for this layout came from the Twilight Crafts online crop, and it was a challenge called White out.  All white, with only black or one other color but only as a pop of color.  Page had to be at least 80% white.  It was my challenge!   I LOVE White out pages, so I had to create one myself after seeing all the beautiful pages that came from it.  I used the "That Face" Jenny Wren Cutfile, turning the heart into a fun shaker pocket, and backing the letters with Black and a metallic white cardstock.  I made a mixed media background using a 12x12 stencil.  using black and white flowers, stars, Nuvo drops, Arrows, and adding some epoxy Flair for a pop of Blue.  Below are some close-ups.

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old. Fall Fun Blog Hop with CutCardstock!

  Thank you all so much for following along with us today!   So far you should have been too the CutCardstock Blog, Niki, and came from Teri!  At the bottom of my post will be the links for the next blog on your journey!      So for this blog hop I decided to step out of my comfort zone of Scrapbook pages and wall decor and try my hand at a card!  I do enjoy sending cards with my “Melly Art” pieces and I also love to send cards to friends and family to cheer them.  I’m going to briefly show you what I did and a few steps on how I did it!   Here is what I came up with.  One of my favorite stamp sets and embossing folder, with some distress oxide, coloring, sequins, and nuvo.  Card making isn’t my greatest creative outlet, but I was happy with this one.  I must have been channeling my inner “Card Ninja” Sister ❤️ Starting with Cougar White, and Neenah white cardstock, square dies, my favorite fall stamps, and my fall colors of di...

A Cut Above May Project

    We made it to May!  Hopefully it brings some warmer weather with it!  Perhaps shouldve waited til June for this card, but its so stinkin cute! The lemons, mint and the little ice cubes all shaking around inside there with the sequins!   I double layered the foam tape around this so nothing gets stuck when its all shaken up. I wanted to add some glitter to the lemons and ice but by the time i thought of it, i had already removed the tape backing.. but that would be something super cute for next time.       I created this card using the design from 3dsvg.com and cardstock from cutcardstock.com                                                                                        ...
