Melly Art Creates All the Things

  This week, I used the stand alone die set, and stamp/die set from DooddleBug Designs Butterfly Kisses collection.  Using a white card base and cardstock from Cutcardstock.com - Gold, Yellow Jacket, Fruit Punch, Strawberry Cream, Fairway, Lagoon, Light Yellow, Black, cougar white, and Flame.  Adding some coordination Nuvo Drops, and some cute sentiments..                                                                                              Thanks for stopping by,  Happy Crafting.

        Today I paired KadoodleBug Designs, watermelon highland cow with some papers from Butterfly Kisses, a white card base from CutCardStock  with some cute sentiments and created this bright, summery card. 

             Today I am sharing these adorable summer, highland cows from KadoodleBug Designs.    I used cardstock from CutCardstock, Rose Quartz, fairway, black., Lime, Hot Fudge, Dessert, and Sand Castles. Some chalk and glossy accents, with some inking with Catherine Pooler inks.  Come back in a few days and see the project i used one of these adorable guys on.  

  Good Morning!  Today Im sharing a layout for TwilightCraftsUK, and iim using Jenny Wren Cutfile in a little bit of a different way. I cut used 'cuddles' from Jenny Wren cutfiles on some nice heavy cardstock. Instead of using the cut piece, i used it as a stencil. I used some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks and blended them down the page, stenciling the word "cuddles" down the page 5 times, in 5 different colors. I chose the colors off an old Cocoa Vanilla Studio collection, the name escapes me. I kept the embellishments on the simple side, not wanting to cover up too much of the background. I cut some circles from some patterned paper, adding some wood veneer butterflies and acrylic white hearts, paper flowers, a few sequins and nuvo drops.   How Cute did these cards turn out??  I cant get over the stamp sets from Brutus Monroe!  They are too cute, i had no choice than make cards with all of them.   I posted some back in May, here are the other 3 that went with them.  The focus here is Cougar White Heavy Cardstock from CutCardstock.  I used a few different mixed media items on each card.  Two have Faux Honey, and it looks and feels just like honey!   Crazy, right?  Each card also has Whipped Honey in different colors, two through a stencil, and one just smeared onto the cardstock.   2 cards feature the stamp sets, using alcohol markers to color them, the last is a honey pot stencil, and a fussy cut Pooh from a paper pack.  Below are some close up photos ..              I paired these bears from earlier this week, with Doodlebug Butterfly Kisses and the cutest photo of my niece.   She is very photogenic, always smiling so much.. these seemed perfect for this photo.  Keeping the embellishments to some hearts, which i used Nuvo drops on, and some fun sparkly sequins.  Below is a full shot of the layout.                                                                                        Thanks for stopping by...         For todays KDB project i chose these adorable photo bears.  I had to do a little digging through the files to find them, but they were so cute i resist using them!  I used cardstock from Cutcardstock.com - hot fudge, sand castle, rose quartz, white, and black.   All of which made these guys perfect!  Check back next week to see how I used them on a layout!                                                                                            Thanks for stopping by..                Today I am sharing a project using the Daisy May Bears.  I created them using some textured cardstock for the bears, and smooth white and a white metallic for the flowers, inking them in a light pink.  Gives them a different look, than all pink ...  I combined them with the new Butterfly Kisses collection, and created a calendar using a Jenny Wren monthly calendar file.  Using some cute Ribbon to attach them together ... below are some photos of the die cuts..                                                                             Thanks for stopping by..       The inspiration for this layout came from the Twilight Crafts online crop, and it was a challenge called White out.  All white, with only black or one other color but only as a pop of color.  Page had to be at least 80% white.  It was my challenge!   I LOVE White out pages, so I had to create one myself after seeing all the beautiful pages that came from it.  I used the "That Face" Jenny Wren Cutfile, turning the heart into a fun shaker pocket, and backing the letters with Black and a metallic white cardstock.  I made a mixed media background using a 12x12 stencil.  using black and white flowers, stars, Nuvo drops, Arrows, and adding some epoxy Flair for a pop of Blue.  Below are some close-ups.                                                       ...

        Its Friday. Hopefully everyone had a great week, maybe a little better now with these super cute Daisy May bears.  design from KadoodleBug Designs, created using the fabulous cardstock from CutCardstock.com  I Used Sand Castle, White,n Black, Gold, Fruit Punch, Lime, Desert Storm, and Strawberry Cream.  Enhanced them with inked edges, glossy accents, nuvo drops, and a shimmer spray.  Added magnets to the box and sent them to live with my mom... below are some more images...                                                                            Thanks for stopping by..   This project was a real Labor of Love, all the petals, inking, bending, layering... Was definitely worth it, it turned out amazing!  The design itself is from Dreaming Tree, and the cardstock from Cutcardstock.              I decided to stick with all the pretty pinks and the red rose, all the spring time colors that I love so much.  I used Fruit punch, Strawberry Cream, Metallic Mars, Light Pink, Chamomile, Jelly Bean, Lime, and Easter Grass.  I didnt add anything to this, It was so pretty all on its on, and fits into a 9x9x2 shadow box... once i get the shadow box.                                              Thanks for popping in!   Happy Crafting!
