CutCardstock Friday

Happy Friday!  This week I am sharing a shadow box designed by Dreaming Tree, I created using lots of CutCardstock!  I used Rose Gold Foil, Yellow Jacket, Bubblegum, Razzleberry, Light Pink, Cougar White, Jelly Bean, Lime, and Sky Blue. 

     

 I used some cut centers for some of these, a yellow mini pom pom, and some pink half pearls for the other centers, to add some interest to the flowers, and make them pop a little more.  Using Catherine Pooler inks, I inked all the edges of the flowers as well, and bent them up in different directions so they look a little bit realistic and pop some more.

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old. Fall Fun Blog Hop with CutCardstock!

  Thank you all so much for following along with us today!   So far you should have been too the CutCardstock Blog, Niki, and came from Teri!  At the bottom of my post will be the links for the next blog on your journey!      So for this blog hop I decided to step out of my comfort zone of Scrapbook pages and wall decor and try my hand at a card!  I do enjoy sending cards with my “Melly Art” pieces and I also love to send cards to friends and family to cheer them.  I’m going to briefly show you what I did and a few steps on how I did it!   Here is what I came up with.  One of my favorite stamp sets and embossing folder, with some distress oxide, coloring, sequins, and nuvo.  Card making isn’t my greatest creative outlet, but I was happy with this one.  I must have been channeling my inner “Card Ninja” Sister ❤️ Starting with Cougar White, and Neenah white cardstock, square dies, my favorite fall stamps, and my fall colors of di...

February A Cut Above

  Good Morning!  Back with another project for A Cut Above.  This month I created this beautiful card from Dreaming Tree using glitter cardstock and Cougar White from CutCardstock .  This was very simple and turned out beautiful. I decided to keep this simple to highlight the glitter aspects, however lots of different things would work for this card: sequins, nuvo, flair, flowers, additional hearts, lots of layer can be added to it as well.  Doesn't have to be for valentines day, this can be used as an anniversary card, or just an everyday I love you card to make anyone feel special.                                                                             ...
