CutCardstock Friday

Image
Happy Friday!  So I decided to go back to creating all my Die Cut sets I have.  This is one of my favorites!  Designed by Marjorie Ann Designs, I used lots of glitter and metallic cardstock from CutCardStock - Pink Merrisparkle, Bronze, Lagoon - and also Sand Castles, Twine, black, and cougar white.  I am just in love with how these guts came out!  I used some glossy accents and some white Nuvo Drops for the lettering, and to make the chocolate tops to look shiny.  Below are some closeups, hope you enjoy!                                                                                                              ...

Happy Monday!  I know Mondays are never happy.. but maybe these adorable blueberry bears will make you at smile.  This is the Blueberry Jam set from Kadoodlebug Designs.  I use CutCardstock to create them, inking all the edging.  I went through and added some glossy accents to  the jars, some blue glitter drops to the jam adding a distinction from the jar. Added some morning dew nuvo drops to the eyes and nose, and black nuvo for the flower centers and stems, and finally some chalk for her rosy cheeks.   Below re some closeups of each one...                                                                                       Thanks for stopping by... CutCardstock Friday

Happy Friday!  This week I am sharing a shadow box designed by Dreaming Tree, I created using lots of CutCardstock!  I used Rose Gold Foil, Yellow Jacket, Bubblegum, Razzleberry, Light Pink, Cougar White, Jelly Bean, Lime, and Sky Blue.         I used some cut centers for some of these, a yellow mini pom pom, and some pink half pearls for the other centers, to add some interest to the flowers, and make them pop a little more.  Using Catherine Pooler inks, I inked all the edges of the flowers as well, and bent them up in different directions so they look a little bit realistic and pop some more.                                 Till next week.. Happy Crafting!

They would be perfect for a picnic, family cookout, or just some cute watermelon photos.  They'd be cute on a summer card for someone, Youre one in a melon.. or for invitations- A Juicy good time.. . so many ways to use these little guys!  I used White, Black, grey, greens, and a fruity color from Cutcardstock to create them, accented them with some chalk and glossy accents.  Below are some close-ups of them.                                                                 Thanks for stopping by... Twilight Crafts Project 2

Image
Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening!   I'm sharing this layout for Twilight Crafts and Jenny Wren Cutfiles!  As soon as i saw this file I knew I had to use it for foodie photos!  I Love to cook and bakes, for everyone except myself .. lol  I used an older Traci Reed Collection to complement the file and the photos.  Using the travelers notebook pages to back the cutfile.          I took some of the embellishments that came with this collection, used some pop dots to create some dimension, adding some nuvo drops and sequins for a little pop of sparkle.  Adding in some epoxy flair from ScrappinHappy Studio.  Finally adding some white nuvo around everything.

I am SO Super duper excited to be sharing that I am on a new Design Team - KadoodleBug Designs!  I have been creating their fabulous die cuts for SO many years, for so many layouts and just for fun!  I hope to be there for a long time to come and that this is a beginning!  I decided for my first project for them, I created the Strawberry Jam Bear set.  I used cardstock from CutCardstock, their metallic red reallyh made the strawberries and the Jam pop out.  I also used chalk for their rosy cheeks, Glossy Accent to give the Jam a special affect, and some nuvo drops on the jam outside the jar, so there was some distinction.. Also used them on the flower centers to draw some interest to them as well.  These were so much fun to make.. This set I made into magnets for my mom so they have a protective Modge Podge layer on them as well.  Below are some c...

More Flowers!  Pansies!  They are generally the second flower i plant, they are hardy and I love to feed the bees!  and they're beautiful!  So many colors you can create with this.   I went with Cougar White, Light Yellow, and Amethyst, with Sour Apple, Hot Fudge, and some patterned papers.  Using brads to adhere the flowers to the card base.  I added a Birthday sentiment, this is for my neighbor, she asked for a card, Shes getting a gorgeous one!  These box cards are amazing when they're unfolded from the envelope, no one expects this.. wow.   I didn't add too much on to this, the flowers were a lot and I didn't want to take away from them.  You could however ass shimmer spray, glitter, nuvo drops, sequins, anything you'd like to dress it up a bit.                           ...

CutCardstock Friday

This weeks CutCardastock project is a super cute Peek A Bunny box card, design and files from Dreaming Tree.  This looks daunting to put together, I always get a bit anxious and overwhelmed when everything is laying in front of me, so many little pieces!  Takes a minute to remind myself i've been doing this for 20 years I know what I'm doing.  This little card has so many possibilities for its use.  It was originally an Easter card, but changing the sentiment, its just a happy spring bunny card for any occasion!       In creating this I used the following colors from cutcardstock - rose quartz, amethyst, gold, flame, jupiter, lagoon, cougar white, fairway and black.  Making sure to ink as many edges as i could, to add some dimension, also popping up the bunny with some foam dots.  Adding some little enamel dots for the ...

For this project i used 2 Jenny Wren Cutfiles, the First food and the Notebook edges files.  I love combining cutfiles, using one as a focal point and the other as a decorative element, and the notebook edges are perfect for layering under photos or layering in general.           I kept the title file simple, using the Bloom and Grow collection to back the file, keeping the embellishments relatively simple.  I used the floral ephemera, fussy cut butterflies, enamel hearts, and the little saying stickers. They fit perfectly for a growing little girl.  I also used a sketch for this from Scrap A Sketch.

A Cut Above May Project

Image
We made it to May!  Hopefully it brings some warmer weather with it!  Perhaps shouldve waited til June for this card, but its so stinkin cute! The lemons, mint and the little ice cubes all shaking around inside there with the sequins!   I double layered the foam tape around this so nothing gets stuck when its all shaken up. I wanted to add some glitter to the lemons and ice but by the time i thought of it, i had already removed the tape backing.. but that would be something super cute for next time.       I created this card using the design from 3dsvg.com and cardstock from cutcardstock.com                                                                                        ...

CutCardstock Friday!

Image
I decided to give the flowers a little break this week, and create this super cute card with a birds nest and eggs.  Still some flowers but not as many.  I used Light yellow, Hot Fudge, Lapis, Cougar White, Sandcastle, Fairway from CutCardstock.com, and a sheet of patterned paper.. There are lots of layers in this one, and i added some more with some foam dots on the eggs and the nest itself.  I also used some on the front decor, the flowers and branch, also popped up for some more dimension. I used some ink and inked the center of the flower, i like this look, and then a brad to adhere it to the card itself.  Also inking the eggs, give it a little but of interest.             Thank you for stopping by.  Happy Crafting.
