April A Cut Above

        This was challenge this month!   These sunflowers are one of my favorites to use, but they take so long!  I can only cut 4 petals at a time, and there are 24 petals on each flower, 3 flowers .. its a lot of manual die cutting lol  Totally worth it though, they're gorgeous!  I used Gold and Bronze Metallic cardstock for them, makes all the difference! I used some simple orange and gold paper flowers to fill in around them and the title. I used little clear and black drops for the centers, popped a few up on some foam dots, adding sequins and nuvo to finish up.

    Gorgeous LO, Mel! Sunflowers are a favorite of mine and these are amazing....die cut intense! The gold and bronze colors are beautiful and the center drops with curled edges add great dimension. Such a happy LO! Thanks for the inspiration.

    Your card is stunning, I can't imagine doing all those die cuts. A labor of love, for sure. You have created so much dimension here, and that dark background really makes those beautiful flowers pop!!

A Cut Above Project

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old.
