Happy Friday everyone! Its a little late in the month but I couldn't not share this with you. I used 3 Jenny Wren Cutfiles on this project - Fun in the Sun, Sun, and the 30 day calendar. I used a monthly kit from MissKateDesigns, the colors were perfect for these photos and the cut files. I used cardstock from CutCardstock- Cougar white, Fruit Punch, Yellow Jacket, and Black, with some patterned paper. I used colors to cut the files out with instead of the traditional white. Adding a few embelishments from the kit along with some hedgehog die cuts, and some glitter nuvo drops.  Below are some closeups of each page.            Thanks for stopping by, Happy Crafting!                                                                  ...

A Cut Above - August

Image
Good Morning! Happy August!  This month I am sharing a 3-d S-ummer.  the "S" is from a die set from svgcuts.com and the rolled flowers are from CeatedByGwen.com.  I used all the metallic cardstock from Cutcardstock.com -Mars, Jupiter, Rose Quartz, Azalea, Coral, Flame, Gold, Fairway, Lime, Lagoon, Vista, Amethyst - theres ywo more but i cant remembr them.. i used some white cardstock to cut the "ummer" out and then used Peach Sorbet Nuvo  drops to pop that out some.  Adding a few finishing touches like sequins, and some butterflies from an old Vicki Boutin Collection.  This took a lot of time, rolling all those flowers, and gluing them just right for them all to fit, but i absolutely love the way it turned out i hope you do as well.  Below are some more photos...           Thanks for stopping by..  Dont forget to head over the A Cut Above blog here ..  Happy Crafting!

Twlight Craft Presents next 2

For this layout i used another of the patchwork cut files from Jenny Wren Cutfiles., turned it to look like honeycomb, and combined it with "Bee Happy" from Doodlebug Designs. I used photos of one of my dogs, and kept the embellishments simple to show as much of the cut file as possible. Using some ephemera from the collection and some white flowers with button centers, making some extra bees with the stand alone die set, and finally to finish it off, adding some nuvo drops and mini epoxy flair.                                         Below are some close ups. Thanks for stopping by!

Twilight Crafts Project 1

Good Morning... Today I am sharing a Layout for TwilightCraftsuk using the Daisy Lace file from JennyWrenCutfles.  I used the Butterfly Kisses collection from Doodlebug Designs.  One of my favorite companies!  I used some pale yellow cardstock to cut the file on, i love the contrast of it with the yellows in the collection.  I used designs from the 6x8 pad to back each daisy, alternating the color of the flower centers between 2 shades of pink, i love pinks and yellows together.  I didnt do much else to the cutfile itself, i wanted the yellow to pop against the white.  I used a sheet from the pad as well and fussy cut my title out, along with some of the subtitle phrases.  I used the ephemera packs to embellish, then finished the layout with some sequins and nuvo drops.  Below are some closeups...                                   ...

A Cut Above - July

Image
Happy June!!  For June I decided to create an entire set of Die Cuts from Marjorie Ann Designs.   I thought these turtles were the cutest!  And theres nothing i love more than sitting down and paper piecing die cuts together.  Its relaxing to me.. sometimes a little frustrating if the pieces are too little, but relaxing for the most part.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.  They have been embellished with nuvo drops and glossy accents, with some chalk for those rosy cheeks.  Below are closeups of each die cut.                                                                                         ...
