Happy Friday!  Today I am sharing this Lovely little, very versatile, card.  I love to find cards that are meant for one thing and creating them for something totally different.  This is originally made for Valentines Day, but this can be used as anything.  Created in lots of different color combinations, and given for just about any occasion, or as a just because card.       The card itself is from Dreaming Tree , I kept it in its original colors, Metallic Aquamarine, Crystal, Amethyst, Jupiter, Silver and silver Glitter cardstock from  CutCardStock .  I love gatefold cards, and this one has a little added detail of a band to keep it closed.  I added some Ruby Slipper Nuvo Glitter Drops to the inside sentiment, cause I love all the sparkles. Leaving plenty of room for you to write in.  Superr easy and simple to put together and dress up for any occasion.                 ...

    I stitched this snowflake months ago, waiting for the perfect photos.  I decided to use it with photos of my niece, her first sled ride!  She LOVED it.  She was giggling, and smiling.. so precious!   I kept the embellishments to a minimum, took me a week to stitch this, i want it front and center lol      This is my best friends little boy, they took him to an arcade.. out of respect for his momma I kept his face covered.. but he was the sweetest look of just "Awe" on his little face.  I used some cut files backed with simple red cardstock, and used a combination of Cocoa Vanilla Studio boy collections, with some Nuvo Stone drops.           This baby girl was napping with her little thumb in her mouth and it just screamed to be scrapbooked.  She is so precious!  I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Midnight to back a cut file, an additional cut file for the title and some pretty butterfli...

 Good Morning!   I am sharing a little spring layout, its been awfully cold I needed a little warm today.   I created this layout using Cougar White from CutCardstock.com both as the background, splattered with some green and pink, and also used to cut the cut file from Jenny Wren, that I inked with Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn, and made into a shaker element.     The little bunnies on this, I had a 12x12 sheet paper I had found years ago at a retreat, and fussy cut them all out.  They were perfect for this layout of some of the veggies and flowers I had in my garden this past year.  Good Morning!  I'm up today with my second project this month for Twilight Crafts , using the adorable Paw Print Mini Book cut file from Jenny Wren .          There are so many ways this file can be used!  I went with a simple way, adding a shaker page in the middle, cause why not?!   I used a binder clip to keep together but there are lots of ways to keep this together.  Below are LOTS of photos!  One set of the book together, and a set of each page.  Enjoy.              Lets get a little closer on these pages, isnt he the cutest little guy?  I am super excited to be joining a number of Design teams this year.  One of them being Twilight Crafts , using Jenny Wren Cut Files .  Which are super cute and cut very nice!     For my first project I chose the Snow Day cut file, and did a White Out layout with black and white photos of my nieces very first snow fall!  She was so excited and enchanted with the snowflakes, it was so sweet.  I'm sorry you cant see her face, parents request.  But I promise she has the sweetest look on her face.     I used White glitter cardstock from CutCardstock to cut the file itself, adding a shaker to the snowman.  Using some foam tape I popped up the inside of the lettering.  I added some texture to the background using iridescent stencil butter, some Mylar snowflakes, white hearts and 3 different white nuvo drops.        Nothing overly complicated about this layout, very easy to put together once you...

 Good Morning!   I am so excited to be designing for A Cut Above blog!   My first project this year are Nestled Die Cut Albums.  One with a Hexagon and one with a Circle and used some snowflake dies as well.  These were super easy to create.   I used 5 from each shape, the hexagon is lazy days with my puppies and the Circle and snowflakes is my nieces first snow!   I did not include her photos as she is only a few months old.
